An India-Africa Network for Urban Malaria Control and Capacity Building

Goal

Malaria control in Africa is under renewed threat from an invasive vector from South Asia. The URBAN-VECTOR Training Program will build sustainable capacity to understand, predict, and prevent urban malaria transmission.

Research

The URBAN-VECTOR Training Program trains the next generation of researchers to fight urban malaria by studying Anopheles stephensi through vector ecology, epidemiology, genetics, and modeling.

Training

Through international courses, exchanges, and virtual workshops, URBAN-VECTOR connects trainees with mentors worldwide to build expertise in urban malaria research and control.
